So why start a blog?
Short answer? More fun than a diary.
Long answer? Well to start with, I should set the groundwork that all my friends already know - that I am a criminal yapper. As it turns out, a dangerous combo of golden retriever energy plus some flavour of undiagnosed neurospice results in a person that rarely shuts up once they get going.
On the odd occasion that I'm not talking someone's ear off, the then default state is that bubbling desire to share what's on my mind anyways and discuss the things I love, care about or just find interesting. Oftentimes I'll happen across some piece of news or information, or have a sudden revelation that rocks my world but I worry that taking it to someone every time would become a bother. It's then that, to my dismay, I'll bottle it up and hold onto it for later.
While I don't think every single thing I find neat will make it to the blog (did you know that there is no agreed-upon collective noun for koalas because they're rarely seen in groups?), the sorts of things I'll bring to the page aside from actual music-related posts will probably be broader topics that I'm passionate about and/or things that I want to talk on, regardless of who might read or care.
At the end of the day, I just want to get my thoughts onto a page and if anyone happens to entertain me, even better! Feel free to stick around for a variety of opinion pieces & miscellaneous blathers, as well as news on my music and art as well.
